A Special Bond.

This was a commission undertaken when Jayde had plans to move away and thought she may have to leave behind her horse Star, who she has ridden and cared about over many years, and so wanted to have a collection of portraits of them together to always have a reminder of how bonded they were. These photos were not posed, beyond choosing locations for good use of the natural light. Instead, I spent time with them through the afternoon to capture the honest, authentic moments they would share together as companions. This was one of my favourite jobs as I love getting to show compassion and genuine emotion in my photography. Plus Star was a beautiful, gentle horse!
